Zinedine Zidane will soon become the coach of the French club “Paris Saint-Germain”.
According to Mundo Deportivo, June 11 will be the key in the negotiations between PSG and Zidane. It is reported that the club fulfilled all the conditions set by the French specialist.
Zidane initially stated that he would take full control of the team’s sporting component. The coach also wanted striker Kylian Mbappe to remain at the club. Sources say that Zidane will become the highest-paid coach in the world.
Zidane coached Real Madrid from 2016 to 2018 before returning to the Royal Club in 2019. Under his leadership, the capital club became the Spanish champions twice (2016/17, 2019/20), won the Super Cup twice (2017, 2019/20), and won the Champions League Europe three times (2015/16, 2016/17, 2017/18), twice won the European Super Cup (2016, 2017) and twice won the Club World Cup (2016, 2017).
As a player, Zidane has been named the World Player of the Year three times.
