Youth and Sports announces that it has received 15,000 applications to join a team "I am a volunteer" To organize the Cairo International Book Fair
The Ministry of Youth and Sports announced that it has achieved a record number of applications to join the “I am a Volunteer” team. In just one week, the Ministry received more than 15,000 applications from Egyptian youth wishing to volunteer to participate in organizing the activities of the Cairo International Book Fair, in The framework of fruitful cooperation between the Ministry of Youth and Sports through the Central Administration for Youth Development, the Ministry of Culture and the Egyptian General Book Authority.
Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, expressed in a statement to the Ministry this evening Al-Khamis – expressed his thanks and appreciation to the youth of Egypt who showed their great keenness to support cultural and developmental activities that highlight the civilized face of Egypt.
The Minister of Youth and Sports said: “This great turnout reflects the Egyptian youth’s awareness of the importance of their national role, and confirms The success of the partnership between the Ministries of Youth, Sports and Culture and the Egyptian General Book Authority in empowering young people and involving them in organizing major events.”
He added: “Cooperation Al-Muthmar between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Culture is a true model of partnership that aims to empower Egyptian youth and enhance their role in various fields. We work together to provide real opportunities for our youth to actively participate in organizing major events that reflect Egypt’s cultural status at the regional and international levels, such as the Cairo Fair.
