New York Yankees star Aaron Judge and his wife Samantha Bracksieck have welcomed the arrival of their first child, a baby girl.
Sharing a picture of the new arrival on Instagram, Judge wrote: ’27/1/2025,Nora Rose Judge.
‘What an incredible week it’s been, can’t wait for the memories the three of us make.’
It emerged in late December that the couple were gearing up to welcome their first child.
Big-hitting Judge and Bracksieck are high school sweethearts, having met in Linden, California.
She first appeared on his Instagram account in 2014 and they both would go on to study at Fresno State University.

Bracksieck was honored in 2017 for writing a master’s thesis in kinesiology. The project looked at elbow ligament injuries in Major League Baseball.
The couple got married in a private ceremony at the Montage Kapalua Bay Resort in Maui, Hawaii in December 2021.
Judge is just a couple of weeks away from the start of spring training with the Yankees in Florida, as his team dust themselves off and go again after losing the World Series to the Los Angeles Dodgers last season.
The Yankees slugger Judge made a rare but costly error in Game 5 of the World Series at Yankee Stadium. Holding a 5-0 lead at the top of the fifth, Judge dropped a routine fly ball from Tommy Edman that should have been an easy out.
Instead, the error allowed two runs for the Dodgers and sparked a Los Angeles fightback that ended up with them clinching the series-deciding victory.
It’ll be a new-look Yankees team that will take on that challenge after Juan Soto’s record-breaking exit to crosstown rivals, the New York Mets, in December.
The Yankees have rebuilt with pitcher Max Fried, infielder Paul Goldschmidt, outfielder Cody Bellinger and reliever Devin Williams.
Judge is said to have played a central role in recruiting Bellinger in the trade from the Chicago Cubs.

Judge, 32, is the captain of the New York Yankees and the team’s star player
Judge signed a nine-year, $360million deal with the Yankees in December 2022.
Bracksieck, meanwhile, was arrested in October 2020 for extreme DUI and four other charges while in Arizona for spring training. She was pulled over because her headlights were off.
Embarrassingly, she even namechecked Judge to police officers during the arrest, asking them: ‘Do you know who my boyfriend is?’
The Yankees start the upcoming baseball season on March 27 against Milwaukee Brewers at Yankee Stadium.
