Work: The Training Fund spent 255 million and 400 thousand pounds on the vocational training system

The Board of Directors of the Training and Qualification Fund of the Ministry of Labor announced today, Monday, headed by the Minister of Labor, Mohamed Gibran, that the total spent by the Fund, since its establishment in 2003, until September 2024, amounted to 255 million and 400 thousand pounds, on the “system and programs” “Training and qualification.” It also spent 21 million and 500 thousand pounds during the past months (July, August, and September).

The Board of Directors said that the Fund continues its strategic role as one of the most prominent arms of the Egyptian state to participate in supporting and financing youth rehabilitation plans. On professions needed by the labor market at home and abroad.

The Minister of Labor, Mohamed Gibran, stressed the importance of the Fund playing its role intensively and continuously, explaining that vocational training is the top priority of the Egyptian state, under the guidance of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President The Republic.

The Board of Directors discussed the agenda, which included the financial conditions of the Fund, the report prepared for presentation to the “Council”, and the position of the training activities supported by the “Fund”. Which includes financing vocational training centers and programmes.

The meeting was attended by members of the Board of Directors: Abdel Hamid Salama, Secretary-General of the Fund, Mohamed Attia Al-Fayoumi, representative of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, and Dr. Mohamed Abdel Salam Mustafa, representative of the General Federation. For Egyptian Industries, Youssef Mohamed Abdel Latif, representative of the National Authority for Social Insurance, Hisham Al-Mahiri, representative of the General Federation of Egyptian Trade Unions, Eid Mersal, representative of the General Federation of Egyptian Trade Unions, Mohamed Hanafi Abdel Moneim, representative of the General Federation of Egyptian Trade Unions, and Raafat Abdel Hadi Shafiq, A representative of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and two experienced members: Ismail Fahmy and Refaat Mohamed Hassan, former Ministers of Manpower, and Yasmine Mamdouh, General Director of Vocational Training Follow-up at the Ministry of Labour.
