Woman reveals ‘most incredible Ozempic transformation ever’… and disgusting change she now has to live with

At first glance, you might mistake these photos of Amy Kane for two different people.

Taken just over a couple of years apart, they show off the 34-year-old’s incredible Ozempic weight-loss journey.

The mom-of-three from Chicago managed to shed more than half her body weight – slimming from over 300lbs to 135lbs – and going from a size 24 to a teeny size 4.

She has built an impressive following on social media, with some of her followers describing it as the most ‘inspiring’ and ‘inspirational’ Ozempic transformation of all time.

Along with getting complimented on her new looks, Ms Kane says people treat her and her family differently when she is in public.

While she was ignored or shunned by strangers in the past, today she finds people are kinder and more helpful if she approaches them.

However, these pluses have come with one major downside: excess skin.

While it is not visible when she is wearing clothes, Ms Kane shows in her posts how she has a sack of unsightly sagging skin around her belly.

Now her aim is to try and reduce the sagging through self-care and cosmetic treatments.

Mrs Kane slimmed from over 300lbs to 135lbs and she has built an impressive following on social media with her inspiring posts

In videos and images shared on Instagram and TikTok, the brunette reveals that her bad relationship with food started as a child and it got worse as she entered adulthood and became a mom.

After starting a family, she was hit by severe postpartum depression and would eat to feel good.

In a bid to get her health back on track, Mrs Kane’s doctor suggested that she should start on Ozempic.

Over the course of 14 months, she found the pounds drop off and today, more than two years on, she is unrecognizable from her former self.

But the content creator says the rapid weight loss has had one downside, with unsightly saggy skin now left hanging around her stomach area.

In videos, she shows her stomach to viewers in a bid to highlight this little-talked about side effect of weight loss drugs.

Dr Siamak Agha, a board-certified plastic surgeon based in Newport Beach, California, told DailyMail.com that he has seen a surge in the number of patients coming to him for excess skin removal in the wake of weight loss drugs.

He says along with the stomach, he sees patients with excess skin around their faces and necks and drooping around the butt area.

Mrs Kane says luckily the skin around her face is not sagging too much and she is happy with her appearance since losing weight.

To help with the sagging skin on her stomach, she moisturizes daily and she has tried a treatment called Neveskin, which uses heat and cold to tighten the skin.

Despite gaining excess skin, Mrs Kane says ‘I’ll take this all day because my health has got a lot better.’

She says some people have told her that now she is too thin, which is ‘crazy’ because since the age of 10, she was always told she was too fat.

As a result of her weight loss, the full-time mom says she has noticed how people treat her and her family differently.

In one clip, she reveals: ‘My children are treated better now I am skinny.

‘People are friendlier to not only me, but to my children.

‘[If] we go to run errands or we go to the park people are kinder, people are more willing to offer help and give us a smile.

‘You cannot tell me that its just in my head. There is bias towards people in a larger bodies, people are definitely nicer to me and my children now I am in a smaller body.’

Along with taking daily Ozempic injections, Mrs Kane transformed her diet by cutting out processed foods and opting for home-cooked meals.

She says overhauling her diet took a lot of willpower and determination.

In one clip, the slimmer explains: ‘I worked tirelessly to heal my relationship with food.

‘[Learning to know] when am I actually hungry, when am I actually full.

‘Some of my biggest challenges were eating a few bites of the dessert instead of the whole thing.’

In one of her videos, she reveals what one of her daily meal plans looks like with it comprising iced coffee with oat milk, a protein bar, an electrolyte drink mix, a turkey wrap with guacamole and carrots, a cottage cheese and spinach dip with pita crackers, and chicken tenders to round out the day.

One thing Mrs Kane says she doesn’t do is count calories and she also doesn’t like to weigh herself.

Throughout her weight loss journey, Mrs Kane says her husband has been a big source of support, as he loved her at her heaviest and also served as her ‘biggest champion’ when she went about slimming down.

In her videos, she reveals that she is now trying to learn to enjoy her new body and foster a more positive sense of self-worth.

Following her transformation, she says she is a ‘very different’ person to who she used to be.

She concludes: ‘I have always been my own worst critic – I was very hard on myself.

‘I feel bad for the old version of me because I have so much more confidence now – I am a new person. I feel bad for her because I question why she wasn’t treated the same.

‘Why didn’t she love herself as much as I do now? I am a very different person to what I was a year and a half ago.’
