Woman allegedly set on fire left fighting for life as police descend on a home in Logan, Queensland

A woman has been left with life-threatening burns after she was set on fire in a suspected domestic violence incident. 

Emergency services were called to an address near Jacaranda Avenue in Kingston, a suburb in Logan in Greater Brisbane, just before 8am on Saturday. 

The woman has been rushed to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesman told Daily Mail Australia she was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition. 

Officers were seen taking photos during an inspection of the Kingston property with several police cars parked outside. 

A Queensland Police spokeswoman told Daily Mail the incident is being treated as domestic violence related.  

The house has been cordoned off with police tape as an investigation is launched.
