The Al-Azhar Alumni Organization branch in Beheira, in cooperation with the governorate’s drinking water and sanitation company, held an awareness seminar on (Water Conservation), at the Faculty of Sharia and Law. He advised us not to waste water, It was narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Omar that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, passed by Saad bin Abi Waqqas while he was performing ablution, and he said: What is this extravagance? Then he said: Is ablution extravagant? He said yes, even if you were on a flowing river.
He added that, in confirmation of the Almighty’s saying: “And We made from water every living thing,” the Holy Qur’an was concerned with preserving water, And not to waste its use, calling for it to be taken by the wasteful, with the necessity of using modern technology to rationalize water.
Dr. called. Muhammad Ashour, director of the organization’s branch in the governorate, invited students to participate in the branch’s various activities, noting the importance of introducing children to the importance of water and preserving it, noting that the Sunnah of the Prophet included directives and hadiths of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, that showed Muslims the negatives of wasting water, even during ablution.< /p>
