Wife left fuming over husband’s ‘infuriating’ act in the kitchen: ‘I’ve owned dogs with better etiquette’

A woman has been left fuming after her husband’s ‘absent-minded’ kitchen act – and it has Aussies so riled up they’ve suggested getting a divorce.

The woman took to Reddit to share a photograph of her freshly baked banana bread loaf before and after her husband helped himself to a slice.

To her disgust, the man she married didn’t even bother to take the loaf out of the tin or take some from the end.

Instead he hacked at the middle of the loaf with a fork.

‘It looks like he just scooped it out with his hand,’ one Redditor said.

‘It looks like he took a finger taste and things got out of hand – fast,’ another agreed.

The 42-year-old woman couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw the mess her husband of 15 years had left behind.

‘He said something about the kids and it being hot,’ she said. 

Hundreds of people were furious on her behalf.

‘If he ever had put in the effort of making something like this, he would appreciate his wives efforts, instead of sh***ing on her like this,’ one man said. 

‘I’m a 42 year old dude and I wanna slap the sh*t out of this guy for that. So disrespectful,’ said another.

‘Ex-husband I assume,’ said another.

‘I have owned dogs with better etiquette,’ added one more. 

Others added the ‘before’ photo makes the post even sadder.

‘She took a photo which meant she was proud of it, then he did this,’ she said.

But some people could understand the man’s actions.

‘I get it. I am not proud of that. But I do get it,’ one man said.

‘He probably just didn’t want the hard edges,’ added another.

‘I don’t like edges either, so I would also take a middle piece,’ said a third. 

Others told the mum ‘not to worry about it’ and focus on how it tastes instead of how it looks.
