The brains behind FixBIOME, Jasmine, launched the brand after experiencing a number of health concerns, that were dismissed by doctors.
After suffering severe gut health issues of her own, Jasmine set out to create a product that would do more than other standard supplements on the market like probiotics.
With a family background in medicine and despite having access to the best medical care, Jasmine says she was constantly dismissed by doctors.
‘The final straw for me was when a doctor said, “Maybe it’s just part of being a woman?” and suggested I go on the pill. That’s when FixBIOME was born,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.
Despite not having a marketing budget for the product, the range sold $5000 worth of products on the day of its launch.
‘All we were was a website blog and a tiny Instagram community with no face – so I knew the information we provided was valuable, and there must be a real gap in the market,’ Jasmine shared.
So what’s next for the brand?
‘For the last year and a half, we have been working on something I am very excited about. But until I truly believe it is the best it can be, we won’t bring it to market,’ the entrepreneur shared.
‘We will never bring another product or offering to market unless we believe it will truly impact people’s guts and quality of life.’
