The White Lotus is back, and it’s wasted no time in throwing us into the deep end, literally. Season three kicks off in Thailand, and within minutes, we’re knee-deep in chaos. Spoilers ahead, you’ve been warned.
Barely six minutes into the first episode we hear gunshots start ringing out. Our guide through this madness? Belinda’s (Natasha Rothwell) son, Zion (Nicholas Duvernay). Poor bloke’s just trying to have a nice meditation session when all hell breaks loose.
Next thing you know, he’s wading through the resort’s pool, frantically praying for his mum’s safety. So, who’s our unlucky victim this time? A guest? Staff member? Could it be multiple people? Your guess is as good as mine. But one thing’s for sure: we’re in for one wild ride. So here are all the theories on who is going to check out permanently this season.
Who is going to die in The White Lotus Season 3?
We’ve rounded up the most likely suspects, and more importantly, why.
Greg
Remember Greg (Jon Gries)? Tanya’s aka Jennifer Coolidge‘s no-good hubby from the last two seasons? Well, he’s back, and he’s brought a new girlfriend. Talk about moving on fast! Also I thought we just assumed that he was gay?
The fact that he’s the most re-occurring cast member of The White Lotus makes me think that his time is officially up. While we’re all itching to see karma bite him in the ass, killing him off might be too obvious. But hey, a girl can dream, right?
Belinda
Our girl Belinda’s back, baby! Surely Greg would recognise her (or vice versa). Some fans are speculating that Belinda might go on a secret mission to expose Greg’s involvement in Tanya’s death. Hopefully it won’t lead to her own, but in The White Lotus you never know!!
Rick
Rick gives me the heeby jeebies and for that reason he’s out. What’s his deal with Sritala (Lek Patravadi) , the resort owner? He’s either got a weird crush or a vendetta. He also can be seen with a gun during this promo so he could actually be the killer rather than be killed. Either way, Rick, who is played by Walton Goggins is giving off major “I might snap at any moment” vibes. Keep an eye on this one, folks.

Sritala
The resort owner’s got secrets, I’m telling you. What’s Sritala’s connection to Rick? Why does everyone treat her like she’s part guru, part god? I smell trouble.
Sritala might be the target of whatever scheme Rick’s involved in or maybe she is the puppet master behind it all. Either way, she’s definitely one to watch. Mostly because she’s an absolute diva.
Chelsea
Oh, Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood). Bless her heart. She’s like a wide-eyed puppy in a world of sharks. Her boyfriend Rick seems like bad news, and let’s be real – in The White Lotus world, being naive is practically a death sentence. Here’s hoping she wises up quick!
Mook
Speaking of divas, our girl LISA made her acting debut as hotel worker Mook and I’m literally obsessed with her! But in The White Lotus, being lovable is sometimes a death sentence. Let’s hope her budding romance with Gaitok doesn’t lead to tragedy. Let my girl be happy!!
The Ratliff family
Where do we even start with this bunch? They’re like a Shakespearean tragedy waiting to happen, but with more designer luggage.
Timothy (Jason Isaacs): Daddy Ratliff’s got money troubles written all over him. If his cash runs out, will he go off the deep end? Could it be a murder-suicide situation if his shady business dealings come to light?
Victoria (Parker Posey): This lady’s popping more pills than a pharmacy. Something’s gotta give, right? Fans are speculating that her perfect facade might crack spectacularly, possibly making her a target or even a perpetrator.
Saxon (Patrick Schwarzenegger): Ugh, this guy. He’s like every frat boy stereotype rolled into one punchable package. Someone might just take him up on that punch. TBH I reckon this one might be wishful thinking because the white douchebag always comes out unscathed.
Piper (Sarah Catherine Hook): The spiritual one of the bunch and the person who supposedly brought her family to Thailand. But will her quest for enlightenment lead her into darkness? Some theories suggest she might uncover some dark family secrets during her research.
Lochlan (Sam Nivola): Here’s a wild theory – what if Lochlan isn’t actually related to the others? It would explain the weird tension between the siblings. Adopted brother or family secret? This may also be wishful thinking because I just can’t with this incest story line.
In terms of ruling out killers, this photo of the Ratliff siblings has been dissected by fans to mean: see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. So I’m thinking they may know who the killer ends up being, but won’t be telling anyone about it.
So, there you have it, folks. We’ve got lots of potential victims and killers. Who’ll end up face-down in the infinity pool? Your guess is as good as mine.
