Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 is finally upon us and we’ve already had a couple of heavy storylines! But, what makes this season extremely interesting is that a bunch of brides and grooms have already appeared on TV.
If you’re wondering why the streets of Australia are dead at 7.30pm from Sunday to Thursday, it’s probably because everyone and their mamas are watching MAFS. The reality TV show where participants get matched by experts and are… Married At First Sight.
Right off the bat, we’ve got two exes who were unexpectedly matched on the show and two potential villain grooms who are tipped to leave the experiment during the honeymoons. And we’ve only just started!!!
But alongside the on-screen tea, there are some huge revelations in the background, including that a number of this year’s participants previously appearing on TV.
With that darn information, it truly feeds into the age-old question: Are you here for love or clout?
Regardless of their reasons, we’re just here to see their Aussie entertainment resumes.
So, without further ado, here are some of the Married At First Sight 2025 participants who’ve previously been on TV.
Which Married At First Sight 2025 Stars have been on TV before?
Carina Mirabile
Show: Love & Hip Hop, The Claremont Murders and multiple commercials.
Our first bride of the season, Carina Mirabile, has extensive experience on screen. According to Yahoo! Lifestyle, the bride (who was matched with Paul Antoine, who ghosted her eight months before the experiment) Carina has appeared in several commercials and appeared as an extra for the US’ Love & Hip Hop when she lived in New York.
On her YouTube account, you can find one of her commercials which aired on Channel Seven, and a music video she starred in for Sidhu Bhammeala.
Sierah Swepstone
Show: The Bachelor.
If Sierah Swepstone rings a big bell in your head, you might remember as the iconic gal on Jimmy Nicholson‘s version of The Bachelor.
When she was evicted from the mansion, Sierah dropped one of the most iconic one-liners in Bachy history, stating that Jimmy wasn’t into “tall, horny bogans.”
Ugh, can’t wait to see what she comes up with on MAFS.
Paul Antoine
Show: The Real Love Boat Australia.
MAFS won’t be the first show where Paul has attempted to find love. Back in 2022, the tatted-up bloke shot his shot on The Love Boat Australia.
Unfortunately, with him being on MAFS, that would mean his attempt at a relationship on a cruise ship failed.
Jeff Gobbels
Show: Neighbours.
Mr Jeff Gobbels previously starred in one of Australia’s most popular shows: Neighbours. Gobbels appeared on the show as police officer Kurt Bridges for three episodes in 2017.
He has also appeared in The Whistleblower, The Warriors, Undertow and A Promise Carved in Flesh.
Teejay Halkias
Show: Big Brother Australia.
Before joining Season 12 of MAFS, Teejay Halkias appeared on the 15th season of Big Brother Australia. The 25-year-old actor ultimately placed ninth during his run in the Big Brother house.
Although his reality TV past and StarNow profile might suggest he’s only on MAFS for fame, an insider told Daily Mail Australia that he’s truly a “lover boy at heart”.
Yeah, yeah sure.
So far, these are all the 2024 Married At First Sight castmates who’ve already appeared on TV. But with MAFS under the belt, the television opportunities are endless!
Stay tuned…
