What Was Blurred In Ryan Donnelly’s House?

Married At First Sight‘s (MAFS) Homestays Week gives viewers — and the couples — some major insight into the lives of our participants. However, one of the items in Ryan Donnelly‘s home was censored from viewers during his cribs tour. The groom has since revealed what the mysterious knick knack is.

Spoiler alert: No, it wasn’t a John Aiken mega butt plug.

Ryan Donnelly truly has had a shitshow of a Homestays Week. However, one of the standout moments from his tumultuous week was when his ‘wife’ Jacqui Burfoot was shocked by his choice of interior design.

To paint you a picture of Ryan’s world, the bloke is very well-travelled and has a ‘yuge treasure trove of souvenirs from his travels. Kinda like The Little Mermaid‘s Ariel and her secret grotto, minus the statue of Prince Eric.

Some of these items included shot glasses, liquor, katanas, kimonos and more. However, there was one object that seemed to be blurred in the post-filming edits.

What was the blurred object in MAFS’ Ryan Donnely’s house?

With a show like MAFS, you’d think the object would be something spicy. Perhaps something saucy, something naughty, something phallic.

However, speaking to Daily Mail Australia, the self-proclaimed warrior groom revealed that the censored item was a “case of ammunition”.

He went on to explain that bullets were souvenirs he picked during a trip to Hamilton Island.

While the blurred item might not be as jaw-dropping as we thought it would be, we can definitely say that Jacqui’s reaction to his home surely was.

Throughout the whole tour, Jacqui looked like she was on the verge of a breakdown.

While we saw a montage of what Ryan’s home was decked out with — such as swords, skulls and a blank vision board — Jacqui cried to producers, overwhelmed by his international collection.

“I just think he’s been alone here for seven years and maybe he isn’t aware of how lonely he is,” the controversial bride said in a voxie.

“It really reminds me of the elderly, because a lot of the elderly live in homes where they’re alone for seven, 10, 15 years.”

I hate to admit it, but I did cackle a little at the “elderly” read. But hey, I can’t talk, my home looks like all my teenage phases imploded on each other. Think emo, swagapino and Hello Kitty girlie.

Married At First Sight returns tonight on Channel Nine and 9Now.
