West Brom starlet attracting loan interest after wowing scouts with stunning solo wondergoal for U18s
West Brom starlet Ollie Bostock is attracting interest for a potential loan deal.
The 17-year-old scored a stunning solo wondergoal in the heavily scouted FA Youth Cup on Tuesday night.
The teenage attacker has appeared on several of the Baggies’ senior benches in the Championship but not yet made his first-team debut.
It was for West Brom’s Under 18s that Bostock won the ball in his own half, sprinted to the other end of the pitch, and scored into the far corner after entering the box.
That sealed a 4-2 win over Norwich at Carrow Road and a place in the Youth Cup quarter-finals.
The feeling among scouts is that Bostock, who won West Brom’s 2023-24 Academy Player of the Year award, is ready to be tested at senior level.

With less than a week to go in the transfer window, the Baggies are now expected to be approached by clubs looking for a late swoop.
The Hawthorns outfit – who currently sit fifth in the Championship – will be keen to ensure that any potential destination aligns with Bostock’s playing style.
Bostock can play across all of the attacking positions and is a Wales youth international capped up to Under-19 level. He is also eligible for England.
After signing his latest deal last year, Bostock is currently under contract until the end of next season.
