Water shortage in 3 villages in Sohag to replace and renew lines as part of the Decent Life initiative
The Sohag Water and Sanitation Company announced the lack of water in the upper floors of the villages of Bandar al-Sharqiya, Bandar al-Gharbiyya, and Awlad Bahij in the Gerga Center, today, Wednesday, from nine o’clock in the evening until nine o’clock in the morning of the next day for a period of 12 hours. This was stated by Engineer Mohamed Salah al-Din Abdel Ghaffar, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Member. The delegate added that during this period, replacement and renewal work will be carried out on the 450 ml water line supplied to those villages with filtered water, as part of the Decent Life Initiative.
Hassan Mahmoud, director of the hotline, explained that the company receives citizens’ complaints through the hotline 125 from a landline or mobile phone and the number 01207125125 through the WhatsApp service or through the mobile phone application (HCWW 125) or by sending the complaint on the company’s website www.scww. com.eg, and that free pure water vehicles have been prepared and paid for to meet the needs of citizens when they need it.
The Sohag Water and Sanitation Company calls on citizens and bakery owners to provide water during this period.
