Fayoum Governorate celebrated, this Saturday morning, the phenomenon of the sun perpendicular to the Holy of Holies in Qasr Qarun Temple, which occurs on the morning of the twenty-first of December every year, as a committee from the Fayoum Governorate Tourism Administration, in cooperation with the governorate’s antiquities area, monitored And documenting the phenomenon.

This came in the presence of Major General Abdullah Fleifel, Deputy Director of Fayoum Security, and Brigadier General Mahmoud Shuaib, Commissioner of the Department of Tourism and Antiquities. In the governorate, Ashraf Sobhi, Director General of Fayoum Antiquities, Dr. Moataz Ahmed Abdel Fattah, Director General of Tourism in the governorate, Sherine Mohamed Mahmoud, head of the local unit of the center and city of Youssef Al-Siddiq, and a number of executive and security leaders, and citizens.
