Yesterday, London streetwear label Corteiz dropped a short film, directed by none other than Gabriel Moses, launching the brand’s latest Nike collab. Bringing together some of art, music and sport’s most exciting names, from artist Olaolu Slawn to England footballers Phil Foden, Chloe Kelly, and former Dazed cover star Kobbie Mainoo, plus rapper Chy Cartier, too.
The 90 second-long film sees the young stars showing off their best keepie-uppies and ball skills, all through the brooding lens of Moses, who was inspired by archive Nike Freestyle commercials. Snippets were first premiered on Corteiz founder Clint’s Instagram Close Friends story, where we were given a glimpse of the collection’s new Nike Air Trainer Huarache in the ‘Flat Pewter’ colourway. Elsewhere this week, it’s been a pop culture-filled few days in fashion as spooky season drew to a close. A-listers gave us their best celeb-o-ween looks; meanwhile Marc Jacobs set his sights on Chanel; and Ariana Grande shone in the latest Swarovski campaign.
