Less was more when it came to makeup looks at the 2025 Oscars. While stars tend to change into more daring looks after the ceremony at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, this year’s biggest names let their natural beauty shine by way of elegant winged eyeliner, neutral lips and rosy cheeks.
Oscar winners Mikey Madison and Zoe Saldaña both wore full faces of Armani for film’s biggest night, including the brand’s Luminous Silk Foundation. For Madison, makeup artist Melissa Hernandez added warmth to the cheeks with the Silk Glow Liquid Bronzer and a delicate flush with the Luminous Silk Cheek Tint.
Hernandez achieved Madisons’ trademark eyeliner with a mixture of the Eye Tint Long Lasting Eyeshadow, which she applied along the base of the lash line, blending it upwards and outwards for a sultry, smoked out effect, alongside the Smooth Silk Eye Pencil.
Lastly, Madison’s nude lip was courtesy of Armani’s Beauty Lip Power in Shade 203. She couldn’t let her lips shine brighter than that golden statuette…

While the “Anora” breakout has exclusively worn nude lips throughout her awards season run, other stars who usually don’t shy away from a bold lip, such as Selena Gomez, also opted for neutrals for the ceremony and after party. Gomez used Rare Beauty to achieve her Old Hollywood glam. The “Emilia Perez” actor mixed the Soft Pinch Matte Bouncy Blush and Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter for a natural glow, and topped off the look with the Stay Vulnerable Glossy Lip Balm in Nearly Petal.
Even the night’s more colorful puckers refrained from too much pigment. Demi Moore, nominated for her leading role as Elisabeth Sparkle in “The Substance,” went for a combo of Charlotte Tilbury’s Lip Cheat Lip Liner and K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick. Meanwhile, Monica Barbaro, nominated for her supporting role as Joan Baez in “A Complete Unknown,” went for a subtle rouge with this budget drugstore pick from L’Oréal.
