Four men have been charged after a brawl allegedly involving use of bricks and wooden sticks erupted on a normally quiet suburban street in Sydney’s south-west.
Emergency services were called to Rosina Street in Fairfield about 5.15pm on Monday following reports of a brawl involving both men and women.
Footage filmed by a passing motorist showed a man armed with an object appearing to charge toward a group of people standing in a driveway.
He appeared to throw the object, believed to be a brick, which struck another man in the head. A man in a white hoodie also appeared to hurl an object at the group.
An older-looking man fled the confrontation before the man in a white hoodie appeared to launch a second projectile in his direction.
Two men, aged 21 and 40, were treated by paramedics at the scene before they were taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.
Two men, aged 38 and 53, and two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, were arrested at the scene and have since been charged by police.
The men were charged with affray, with the 53-year-old man also charged being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence.

All four were refused bail and will attend court today.
The 21-year-old man has been released from hospital and was arrested.
He remains at Fairfield Police Station.
NSW Police confirmed bricks were allegedly used as weapons in the brawl.
