“Under the slogan of clean water.” The Egyptian Rowing Federation hosts the global environmental awareness campaign for the third year

The Egyptian Rowing Federation, in cooperation with the Chinese Deep Dive Foundation, is organizing, on Saturday, October 12, at 8 a.m., a global environmental awareness campaign under the slogan “Clean Water, No Carbon,” at the Egyptian Rowing Club in Dokki, Cairo.

< p>This campaign comes in its third year, as it was launched for the first time in China in 2021, and brought together thousands of rowers from different countries of the world.

The campaign included rowing across 123 cities in 19 countries, with the participation of 1,200 rowers. This year, the campaign has expanded to attract more than 5,000 participants from 155 cities in 34 countries across 6 continents.

This event witnesses the presence of the President of the Egyptian Rowing Federation, Dr. Amr Al-Nouri, members of the Federation’s Board of Directors, the Federation’s CEO and employees, to Along with representatives of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the Ministry of Environment, in addition to prominent figures and environmental activists.

Mr. Tim Feng, President of the Chinese Deep Dive Foundation, and Mr. Ken Li, organizer of the World Rowing Campaign and former Secretary-General of the Federation, will also attend. Asian Rowing.

The event includes, in addition to the participation of Egyptian rowers in their boats in the Nile, a presentation of the salient points from the global campaign in a special session within the climate conference, where the importance of keeping water clean will be discussed.
