Two soldiers killed, others injured in Israeli Black Hawk helicopter crash south of Gaza

A Black Hawk helicopter flew into Rafah to evacuate a seriously wounded combat engineer; for an unknown reason, it failed to land properly at an Israeli army camp.

Arab Defense Website September 11, 2024: killing Two soldiers were killed and several others were injured when an Israeli Air Force helicopter crashed in the southern Gaza Strip early Wednesday morning, in what the military described as an accident.

The Israeli forces identified them as Sergeant Major (Res.) Daniel Aloush, 37, from Tel Aviv, and Sergeant Major (Res.) Tom Ish Shalom, 38, from Nes Harim.
