Tuesday… Al-Azhar Mosque discusses the status and holiness of the Holy Qur’an in the weekly intellectual forum
Al-Azhar Forum for Contemporary Issues continues At Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Mosque, its weekly activities are Tuesday Next, under the title: “The Status and Holiness of the Holy Qur’an,” under the patronage of His Eminence the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and under the guidance of Dr. Muhammad Al-Duwaini, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar, and the supervision of Dr. Abdel Moneim Fouad, General Supervisor of the Al-Azhar Corridor, and Dr. Hani Odeh, Director General of Al-Azhar Mosque.
Lectures at this week’s forum are: Prof. Dr. Abbas Shoman, Secretary General of the Council of Senior Scholars and President of the International Organization of Al-Azhar Graduates, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Jundi, Secretary-General of the Islamic Research Academy, and the dialogue is moderated by Prof. Dr. Abdel Moneim Fouad, General Supervisor of Scientific Activities of the Al-Azhar Corridor at Al-Azhar Mosque.
Dr. Abdel Moneim Fouad said that the “Al-Azhar Forum for Contemporary Issues” is one of the important activities that Al-Riwaq is keen on Al-Azhari agreed to hold them, pointing out that the titles of the forums are chosen according to the latest developments in the current circumstances, the doubts surrounding the constants of the holy law, and the variables facing the homeland and the Islamic and Arab nation, stressing that the selection of issues comes in accordance with the events that the Egyptian street is experiencing that concern a wide sector of the masses. He not only refutes the suspicions raised about Islam, but also discusses all issues in Egypt And outside it.
He pointed out that with the selection of titles, the lecturers are chosen very carefully, according to the topic of the forum, and accordingly, specializations and positions are chosen, whether from members of the Council of Senior Scholars or senior scholars and experts in Various specializations from Al-Azhar University and outside it, depending on the topic being discussed.
It is worth noting that the “Al-Azhar Forum for Contemporary Issues” It is held on Tuesdays of every week in the Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Mosque, under the patronage of His Eminence the Grand Imam and under the guidance of His Eminence Dr. Muhammad Al-Duwaini, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, under the name “Doubts and Responses” It was changed to the Al-Azhar Forum for Contemporary Issues, after its success throughout the month of Ramadan, which was held daily after Tarawih prayers. This forum addresses in each episode an issue of concern to society, the nation, and the Arab and Islamic worlds.
