Trump reveals to Joe Rogan the ‘one big mistake’ he made in his presidency as he opens up about UFOs, murder plots and the state of the 2024 election in wild three-hour podcast
Republican candidate Donald Trump appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast in a three-hour long interview where he showed off his attempted assassination scar, talked UFOs and revealed the ‘one big mistake’ during his presidency.
While appearing on The Joe Rogan Experience, the former president revealed he felt he had made ‘bad choices’ whilst discussing previous appointments to his cabinet.
He attributed the ‘success’ of his presidency to his own decision-making when choosing officials to serve in his administration.
‘The one mistake… I will say it always comes back to the same answer, the biggest mistake I made… I picked some people that I shouldn’t have picked,’ he said.
Rogan then responded questioning if that was in reference to ‘neocons’, to which Trump responded: ‘Yeah, neocons, or bad people, or disloyal people.’
During his podcast with Joe Rogan, Donald Trump revealed his ‘one big mistake’ during his presidency saying he made ‘bad choices’ when choosing officials to serve in his administration
The long-anticipated podcast between Joe Rogan and Donald Trump aired earlier tonight garnering viewing figures that soared to 300,000 in just 30 minutes
The 78-year-old Republican candidate didn’t hold back, and specifically named John Kelly, his longest-serving White house chief of staff, and John Bolton, his national security adviser.
Both Kelly and Bolton have become highly critical of the former president. Kelly only recently was quoted standing by claims that Trump was a fan of Adolf Hitler and warned he would ‘govern like a dictator if allowed’.
Kelly served on Trump’s staff from 2017 to 2019 and revealed to the New York Times his claims that the ex-president is the ‘definition of fascist’ with no understanding of American history or the Constitution.
He claimed that Trump had allegedly said ‘Hitler did some good things’, praising the Nazi dictator for having ‘rebuilt the economy’, and that he had wanted the level of loyalty held among German generals in World War II.
Bolton told the Daily Beast that ‘Trump is too stupid to be a true fascist’ and that the ex-president’s behavior ‘alone is troubling enough’.
‘To be a fascist, you have to have philosophy. Trump’s not capable of that,’ he added.
Trump likened Kelly to a ‘bully’ on Rogan’s podcast, he said: ‘You’re reading about them a little bit today, a guy like Kelly, who was a bully. A bully but a weak person… He’s bad… Bolton was an idiot.’
Trump addressed the stolen election claims, saying that the 2020 election was ‘the most crooked election’ and ballots ‘weren’t signed’ and ‘weren’t originals’
In 2022, Rogan had been adamant that Trump would never appear on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ because he did not want to help the Republican party’s campaign. He even referred to the former president as a ‘threat to democracy’
Rogan also pressed the former president on the claims that the 2020 election was stolen from him, asked: ‘I wanna talk about 2020 because you said over and over again that you were robbed in 2020. How do you think you were robbed?’
‘That election was so crooked, it was the most crooked election,’ Trump responded.
When asked for examples, he continues: ‘Well, let’s start, let’s start at the top and the easy ones.’
‘They were supposed to get legislative approval to do the things they did, and they didn’t get it in many cases, they didn’t get it,’ he added.
Trump was then asked what things needed the legislative approval he was referring to, and he answers: ‘Anything… Like for extensions of the voting, for voting earlier. All this different things. By law, they had to get legislative approvals.’
‘You don’t have to go further than that. If you take a look at Wisconsin, they virtually admitted that the election was rigged, robbed, and stolen.’
He then goes on to explain that access to ballots in certain areas was limited because, he claimed: ‘the ballots weren’t signed. They weren’t originals.’
‘We could go into the ballots, or we could go into the overall. I’ll give you another way,’ he continued.
When Rogan then asks if he would ever ‘present’ this evidence, Trump steers the conversation to the 51 intelligence officials who claimed Hunter Biden’s laptop came from Russia with a signed letter just before the 2020 election.
However, the light-hearted, friendly podcast quickly turned again. Rogan asked if the former president had been given any insider information on the existence of aliens.
To which he responded: ‘They told me a lot.’
After Rogan pressed more, Trump said that ‘based on Hunter Biden, I can say whatever the hell I want.’
He goes on to say there’s ‘no reason’ to not believe there is life in space.
During Rogan and Trump’s three-hour long podcast, the pair discussed the scar where he was shot on July 13 by Thomas Mathew Cooks in an assassination attempt
Trump referred to a ‘tiny little mark’ on his ear where he was shot. ‘It zicked right there,’ he added
Rogan then pointed out the lack of evidence and brought up speculative claims made about drones that ‘hover over battleships, that these are Chinese drones and that they’re not UFOs.’
‘They could be also,’ he replied. Before the two then discussed Area 51, and Trump shared: ‘I have to be honesty. I have never been a believer. I have people that Area 51 or whatever it is. I think it’s the number one tourist attraction in the whole country or something. Area 51 in Las Vegas.’
The three-hour long podcast, which delayed Trumps rally arrival by several hours in Michigan, left on a friendly discussion of the scar he was left with following Thomas Mathew Cooks assassination attempt on July 13.
He referred to a ‘tiny little mark’ on his ear where he was shot. ‘It zicked right there,’ he added.
‘It healed up pretty f***ing good,’ Rogan responds.
‘It’s not like some of the wrestlers some of the UFC fighters,’ Trump added. ‘But it makes me a tougher guy.’
In 2022, Rogan had been adamant that Trump would never appear on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ because he did not want to help the Republican party’s campaign.
He turned down multiple offers to have Trump on the show and said: ‘I am not a Trump supporter in any way, shape, or form. I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once – I’ve said no, every time…I don’t want to help him. I’m not interested in helping him.’
Rogan had even referred to the former president as a ‘threat to democracy’.
Kamala Harris’s campaign announced that she wouldn’t be appearing on Rogan’s podcast ‘because of scheduling of this period of the campaign’
However, after he faced backlash after he seemingly endorsed RFK Jr over Trump, Rogan was forced to double back on his comments insisting he wasn’t endorsing Kennedy.
The episode was released at 10pm Eastern Time on Friday night, and viewing figures soared to 300,000 in just 30 minutes.
‘There’s probably no one in history that I’ve ever seen that’s been attacked the way you’ve been attacked and the way they’ve done it so coordinated and systematically,’ Rogan told Trump. ‘You have said a lot of wild s***.’
Kamala Harris’s campaign was reportedly negotiated with Rogan’s team about an interview on his podcast, and it was announced that she wouldn’t be appearing ‘because of scheduling of this period of the campaign.’
