Trump comment about Elon Musk and ‘computers’ sparks wild election conspiracy theory

One comment Donald Trump made at his victory rally has sparked wild conspiracy theories that Elon Musk rigged the election to secure a Republican victory in Pennsylvania.

Trump told raucous crowds that the billionaire tech wiz ‘knows computers better than anybody’ as he was welcoming Musk to his stage on Sunday afternoon.

‘He knows those computers better than anybody. All those computers. Those vote-counting computers. And we ended up winning Pennsylvania like in a landslide,’ Trump said.

‘He journeyed to Pennsylvania where he spent a month-and-a-half campaigning for me in Pennsylvania and he’s a popular guy. He was very effective… Thank you to Elon.’

Polling had suggested the swing state could go Kamala Harris’ way on election night, but ultimately Trump won convincingly, and secured every other swing state.

Now, Trump’s comments are fueling conspiracies that Musk helped to rig the state using his computer know-how.

‘Sounds like a confession that Elon Musk changed vote totals to hand him the election,’ one person said.

Another claimed: ‘Sounds like musk rigged the voting!’

‘Just can’t help bragging about his crimes,’ another said.

But Trump’s supporters laughed off the controversy, with one responding that it is ‘so funny to watch the left turn into conspiracy theorists.’

Trump famously claimed he lost the 2020 election as a result of voter fraud and illegal rigging – a claim widely mocked by Democrats and lawmakers.

Now, MAGA supporters feel vindicated seeing Democrat voters utilize a similar line against Trump.

‘You sound like an election denier,’ one person said in response to the new conspiracy theory.

Musk and Trump embraced one another on stage at the rally on Sunday, celebrating the monumental moment.

The billionaire came on stage to tout the changes he plans to make to the federal government as the co-head of the Department of Government Efficiency with X Æ A-12 (pronounced ex-ash-ay–twelve), four, by his side.

‘Little X just followed me on stage here,’ the 53-year-old Tesla founder explained to the adoring crowd.

‘He’s a very enthusiastic supporter as you can see.’ Musk then cheered, raising his arms by his side as X stared out at the crowd.

During his brief remarks, Musk promised to shake up the federal bureaucracy with his new DOGE agency saying ‘we will do great things here.’

‘This victory is the start really,’ he vowed.

Musk said the goal of the new agency is to ‘Make America strong for centuries’ and to ‘Make America Great Again.’

The SpaceX CEO has previously set an ambitious goal of cutting federal spending by $2 trillion in the coming years from a federal budget that hovers at around $6.8 trillion.

However, he seemed to adjust that target last week.

‘I think we’ll try for $2 trillion. I think that’s like the best-case outcome,’ he said. ‘But I do think that you kind of have to have some overage. I think if we try for $2 trillion, we’ve got a good shot at getting $1 [trillion].’
