Trump border czar ominously warns AOC is ‘going to be in trouble’ for hosting ‘how to avoid ICE’ webinar for illegal migrants

Donald Trump’s Border Czar Tom Homan has warned left-wing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez she is ‘going to be in trouble’ for hosting webinars to help illegal migrants.

The New York congresswoman hosted a webinar on her social media on Wednesday where speakers gave step-by-step instructions to migrants on how to interact with federal enforcement agents.

AOC’s presentation laid out to migrants steps they can take to evade enforcement and avoid answering their questions. It also described tactics that officials and agents would use to catch them.

During a Fox News interview Thursday, Homan revealed he believes AOC’s webinar may be criminal and referred the Squad member to the Department of Justice for investigation.

‘I sent an email today to the Deputy Attorney General, at what level is that impediment? Is that impeding our law enforcement efforts? If so, what are we going to do about it?’ Homan said.

‘Is she crossing the line? Maybe AOC is going to be in trouble now, but I need the AG to opine on that, because there’s an impediment, it’s impediment in my opinion, I’m not a prosecutor, but we need some further guidance on that.’

The border czar admonished Ocasio-Cortez and her fellow Squad members who have provided information to immigrants and those seeking to help them evade federal officials and the new laws that govern them.

‘This is about public safety, this is about community safety. You’re putting the public at great risk, you’re putting our officers at great risk, you’re even putting the illegal alien at great risk, because anything can happen on arrest on the street,’ Homan said.

The congresswoman hit back at Homan on BlueSky after his interview claiming her actions are constitutional.

‘MaYbe shE’s goiNg to be in TroUble nOw,’ she said. ‘Maybe he can learn to read. The Constitution would be a good place to start.’

AOC and others have argued that everyone deserves to know their rights in the face of law enforcement actions against them.

It comes as Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has conducted raids in major U.S. cities known to be providing sanctuary policy protection to undocumented migrants living in their jurisdictions.

President Donald Trump vowed in his 2024 campaign to conduct the largest-ever deportation of illegal immigrants in U.S. history once back in office – and he is making good on that promise.

Newly sworn-in Attorney General Pam Bondi announced lawsuits against New York, its governor Kathy Hochul and other state leaders on Wednesday as part of the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration.

She accused New York of prioritizing illegal immigrants over U.S. citizens, stating ‘it stops today.’ The Justice Department took similar action against Illinois and the city of Chicago last week.

Meanwhile, Homan has said that he is deeply unsatisfied with the rate at which ICE agents are able to arrest illegal migrants residing in the U.S.

When posed the question of whether Trump is happy with the pace of ICE enforcement on Tuesday, Homan shot back ‘I’m not.’

While the daily arrests this year have surpassed the average daily apprehensions last year, Homan claimed there are ‘hundreds of thousands’ of criminal undocumented immigrants that need to be arrested.

‘Sanctuary cities are putting roadblocks up, we got leaks,’ the border czar claimed, noting how some ICE operations have been foiled due to intelligence leaks.

‘So, we need to increase the arrests of illegal aliens, especially those with criminal convictions. So, we’re going to continue. So, three times higher is good. The numbers are good. For me, not good enough. We’ve got to get more.’

On Monday, the White House said in a video highlighting Trump’s accomplishments that ICE had arrested 11,000 ‘criminals’ over 18 days. That averages out to about 611 arrests per day.

More than a dozen migrants with suspected links to the bloodthirsty Tren de Aragua gang have been arrested following ICE raids across three states.

Officers conducted stings in Texas, Tennessee and North Carolina in the past week, with three men apprehended by the FBI following a dawn raid at an apartment complex in Houston on Tuesday.

The three were part of a, ‘multi-state sex trafficking ring that threatened and abused victims’, according to investigators.

Their arrests came after another eight people were indicted for allegedly trafficking women from Venezuela and other countries as part of the illegal prostitution ring.

At least one victim was flown from San Antonio to Nashville, according to an indictment. Gang ‘enforcer’ Yuribetzi Del Valle Gomez Machuca allegedly told the victim she would need to work off a $30,000 debt through being trafficked to cover that flight.

The defendants were apprehended following raids by ICE officers in Texas and Tennessee, the Tennessean reports.

The defendants are: Gomez Machuca, Yilibeth Del Carmen Rivero-De Caldera, Kleiver Daniel Mota Rivero, Wilmarys Del Valle Manzano Soloranzo, Endrik Alexander Morales-Rivero, Ariannys Beatriz Gutierrez-Carrillo, Frankyanna Del Valle Romero-Rivero and Jesus Enrique Castillo Rodriguez.

They are accused of luring the women to the US with the ‘promise of a better life’ before saddling them with massive debts that exceeded their cost of travel and which could only be paid off through prostitution, acting US Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee Rob McGuire said.
