These efforts resulted in several important steps in selecting companies serving pilgrims, some of which were done for the first time in the history of tourist Hajj, and the recent period witnessed after the preparation of the specifications document. Addressing about 22 distinguished Saudi companies working in the field of serving pilgrims, the Chamber received “envelopes” Technical and financial envelopes for about 13 companies that submitted their offers to win the service of the Egyptian guests of God, the pilgrims of the tourism companies, and after opening the “envelopes” The offers of 7 companies were excluded; This is in accordance with precise technical and financial criteria set by the Chamber for selection.
After settling on the offers of 6 Saudi companies suitable for serving tourism pilgrims, the Chamber met with representatives of those companies – during lengthy meetings over the course of Two full weeks – during which the financial and technical details were discussed and the selection criteria set by the Chamber were strictly applied.
