Today…the weekly government meeting to follow up on projects and markets

Today, Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly chairs the weekly Cabinet meeting at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, in order to discuss a number of political, economic, social and cultural files and follow up on the projects being implemented in the various governorates.

As well as the state of the markets and prices according to The Supreme Committee for Control of Markets and Prices, which presented a detailed report yesterday during its meeting with the Prime Minister on the state of inflation and the honor of citizens riding after moving fuel last Friday, in addition to the Prime Minister taking his tour in Minya Governorate at the beginning of this week and inspecting the Decent Life projects, the units and hospitals of Samalout and Al-Dawa, as well as A number of water and sanitation stations, as well as the Prime Minister’s visit to a number of Kardasa schools in Al-Hiza to follow up on the regularity of the educational process.

 

The weekly government meeting is scheduled to be followed by the signing of a number of memorandums of understanding in the sector. Petroleum, then a press conference, in the presence of the Minister of Petroleum. To talk about the measures that were taken during the last period to provide petroleum products and the future plan for that. 

 

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, had held a  meeting  With Engineer Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, to review and follow up on a number of work files.  

 

During the meeting, the Minister presented a number of topics that included the results of efforts to attract the private sector to expand its investments in the field of petroleum, as well as the position of the incentives offered with the aim of increasing production of various petroleum products. In addition to reviewing the availability of petroleum products in local markets, in the context of ensuring the availability of strategic reserves to meet the needs of citizens, as well as meet the needs of the electricity sector.

 

During the meeting, he pointed out Engineer Karim Badawi highlighted the important results of his Cypriot counterpart’s visit to Egypt, which included field tours of a number of natural gas production sites in Egypt, within the framework of the two countries’ keenness to strengthen bilateral cooperation in this field in light of the promising capabilities and opportunities.

The Minister also touched on the fruitful results of holding the Mediterranean Basin Countries Conference (MOC 2024) in Alexandria, which included holding many meetings with international officials on the sidelines of the conference, and witnessed highlighting many areas of cooperation between the countries of the Mediterranean. Mediterranean in the energy sector and sustainable development, in addition to signing memorandums of understanding and cooperation agreements between the petroleum sector in Egypt; And international companies, to enhance cooperation in areas including process safety, energy efficiency, natural gas and hydrogen transportation, sustainable energy and leadership training.

 

The Minister of Petroleum is scheduled to participate in the press conference&nbsp Today, Wednesday, which the Prime Minister will hold at the Council of Ministers headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, to present the current developments in the various axes of the Ministry’s work.
