From his tenures at Bayern Munich and Chelsea, Tuchel has worked with a raft of English talent – most notably Harry Kane, who the manager was hell-bent on tempting to Bavaria in the summer transfer window of 2023.

Of the current cohort, Tuchel is familiar with Levi Colwill – although never worked with the current Chelsea star, as he booked back-to-back loans to Huddersfield Town and Brighton and Hove Albion.

Tuchel had an equally brief time coaching Conor Gallagher when he returned from his 2021-2022 Crystal Palace loan, although he is believed to have held the now-Atletico Madrid player in high regard.
