The worst habits of old age

Scientists are of the opinion that all these habits destroy the younger body, but with age, their harmful effect increases.
The first bad habit is that you don’t drink enough water. Scientists note that as people age, their thirst decreases, so the amount of fluid consumed in old age should be especially monitored.

The second habit is to create a lack of protein in the diet. “People over the age of 60 are at risk of losing muscle mass, and if you don’t eat enough protein, this process can speed up,” said dietician Courtney D’Angelo.

It is also noted that a late dinner can be harmful to health – even if you choose healthy food. Foods eaten shortly before bed increase the risk of diabetes and other metabolic disorders.

Another harmful habit for health is the lack of fiber in the diet. Fiber is regularly necessary for the well-coordinated functioning of the digestive system, as well as for the maintenance of healthy bacteria, which in turn strengthen the immune system and improve the absorption of nutrients and vitamins. To get enough fiber, include oatmeal, berries, apples, and legumes in your diet.
