“The Women’s Nationalist” thanks the Public Prosecution, the “Administrative Office” and the “Interior Ministry” for taking legal measures against the “gynecologist” doctor.

The National Council for Women condemned the offensive video of an obstetrician and gynecologist, which she broadcast on her account on the social networking site “Facebook”, in which she reveals the secrets of her patients and offends the women of Egypt.

 

The Council affirmed that this video constitutes a clear insult to the women of Egypt, and to society in general, and it also confirms that what the doctor did under the slogan of community awareness is in fact a blatant violation of the rights of female patients and a violation of the ethics of the medical profession and the code of ethics for practicing the profession and inciting public opinion.

 

 In this context, the National Council for Women extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Public Prosecution, the Ministry of Interior, and the Administrative Prosecution Authority, for quickly intervening and taking the necessary legal measures, each in their respective areas, which leads to preserving security, safety, and stability of society.

 

 The Council also extended its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Medical Syndicate for announcing the opening of the investigation into the aforementioned doctor, praising this important step that  It contributes to preserving the morals and ethics of practicing the profession and elevating it, and forms a barrier against the repetition of such shameful acts.

The Council affirmed its complete rejection of any abuse of Egyptian women, and that it will not relent in defending women against anyone who dares to infringe on their rights.
