The United States agrees to sell the Javelin ATGM system to Lithuania for $125 million

The US State Department has approved the sale of Javelin anti-tank missile systems to Lithuania for $125 million, the Defense and Security Cooperation Agency, a part of the Pentagon, said.

30 Javelin ATGM command and launch units will be delivered to the Baltic state. In addition, the deal includes the delivery of 341 FGM-148F missiles.

The package also includes battery chargers, reference materials, maintenance services, and simulators.

Earlier it was reported that the Baltic states are planning to create a joint missile system to defend against Russia.
