The UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, affirmed today, Tuesday, the depth of relations between Egypt and the UAE for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples.
This came after Sheikh Nahyan’s participation, on behalf of the UAE President, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in the sessions of the World Urban Forum “WUF” In its twelfth edition in Cairo under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, amid prominent regional and international participation, with the aim of strengthening international cooperation in the field of sustainable development for the benefit of the governments and peoples of the Earth, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
Sheikh Nahyan indicated that he conveyed the greetings of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed to the Egyptian leadership and his wishes for the forum’s work to succeed in achieving its noble goals for the benefit of all humanity, noting that the Egyptian leadership carried a message of thanks and appreciation to the Emirati leadership, appreciating the active participation. He stressed that the forum focuses mainly on sustainable urban development and aims to enhance cooperation and synergy between participants in promoting sustainable urban development and implementing it regionally and internationally, in addition to researching Sustainable solutions to the global housing crisis, as it is one of the most pressing issues facing the world currently, pointing out that his country’s participation comes to transfer the Emirati experience, learn about global experiences, and enhance international cooperation in the field of sustainable development.
< p>The UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence explained that his country’s participation in the global forum was very fruitful, because it represented an opportunity to hold many meetings with a number of international leaders and figures, on the sidelines of its work, to exchange ideas and experiences and discuss ways of cooperation with regard to sustainable urban development, and addressing the issue of urbanization. Global, and building partnerships to cooperate on challenges the world faces such as climate change, conflicts and poverty.
