Today, Friday, Alexandria Governorate witnessed the launch of the Egypt Friendly Rugby Championship, with the participation of 8 teams, including 4 women, 2 men, and 2 under the age of 20.
Engineer Hossam Sahib, President of the Egyptian Riding Federation in Egypt, said that the friendly cyclist tournament in Alexandria was between the Jordanian national team, the Alexandria cyclist team, and a number of Cairo cyclist teams, in the presence of members of the Board of Directors and Lieutenant General Ahmed Khaled Hassan, Governor of Alexandria.
The president of the rugby federation added to “Youm7” that the friendly tournament is a preparation for the next Arab Championship in Alexandria Governorate, which will be held in the middle of next February, which will host 16 teams from 8 countries and will be held over two days in Alexandria under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
