Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and within the framework of ongoing efforts to promote human and social values ​​among young people, the activities of the fourth week of the Children’s Forum, organized by Al-Rawaq Al-Azhari in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports in all governorates of the Republic, were launched, entitled “Citizenship and Respect.” “The Other”, which aims to enhance the concept of citizenship and the values ​​of peaceful coexistence between various groups of society. A group of Al-Azhar preachers and members of Al-Riwaq branches participate in the forum. Al-Azhari, with the aim of educating children about the importance of mutual respect and acceptance of others, developing the child’s skills, and enhancing the spirit of national belonging. In his statement, Dr. Abdel Moneim Fouad, General Supervisor of the Al-Azhari Corridor, stressed the importance of such activities in shaping children’s awareness and promoting patriotic values, saying: “Building a conscious generation that respects others and accepts differences is a shared responsibility, and through the Children’s Forum, we work To instill noble values ​​that help build a cohesive and cohesive society, and encourage children to express their opinions and ideas, pointing out the organization of open dialogues among children about the importance of accepting others and their role in strengthening national identity." For his part, Dr. Hani Odeh, Director of Al-Azhar Mosque, explained that teaching children the values ​​of citizenship is an essential step towards achieving comprehensive development, and added: “Citizenship is not just a word, but rather a behavior that children must learn from a young age. We are here to stress the importance of Mutual respect, which contributes to building a society where peace and understanding prevail, calling on all parents and educators to participate and support this valuable initiative, which seeks to build a generation that enjoys awareness and mutual respect, and is able to face the challenges of the future in a spirit of cooperation. And understanding".
