For his part, the Grand Imam welcomed Mohammed Al-Mubarak and his accompanying delegation to Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, expressing his appreciation and pride in his brother Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and the old relationship. And the strong link between the Emirates and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, the most prominent evidence of which is the signing of the historic Human Fraternity Document in Abu Dhabi.
The Sheikh of Al-Azhar pointed out the importance of the role of the ministries and institutions of culture in our Arab world in paying attention to the Arabic language and creating Islamic knowledge and cultural sources capable of attracting our youth and children, especially on social networking sites and addressing them in their easy and simplified language. So that they do not fall prey to extremist movements, and are attracted by those with agendas alien to our Islamic world.
