The Sheikh of Al-Azhar interrupts his visit to Azerbaijan to receive condolences on the death of his older sister

His Eminence the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, decided to cut short his current visit to Azerbaijan and return to the homeland to receive condolences on the death of his elder sister, Hajja Samiha Muhammad Ahmed Al-Tayeb, who passed away this Wednesday morning.

The funeral ceremony will be held – God Almighty willing – this evening in the city of Qurna, Governorate. Luxor.
