The Public Prosecution issued a statement, in which it said that it is following up on the measures taken by Alexandria Governorate regarding incidents of building balcony collapses.
This came in addition to the Public Prosecution’s statement dated the twenty-first of last November, in In light of the recommendations issued by the Public Prosecution; To avoid incidents of collapsing building balconies and parts of real estate that are likely to collapse in Alexandria Governorate.
The governorate reported that it had taken many measures, including forming 15 committees at the neighborhood level within the governorate; To inspect these properties and take the necessary legal measures to demolish or restore them, and the commitment of the administrative authority in cases of imminent danger to evacuate the properties immediately, and to take all necessary precautions and measures to protect lives and property.
This, the Public Prosecution confirms that it will continue to follow up on all neighborhoods at the level Governorate; To carry out these procedures.
