The Prime Minister confirmed, at the beginning of his visit to the temple, that this inspection comes within the framework of a follow-up to his previous directive to carry out restoration work for the “Habu” temple.
Dr. Bahaa Abdel Jaber explained that the “Habu” temple It was built by King Ramesses III of the Twentieth Dynasty, confirming that the temple restoration project began in March 2022 and will continue until May 2023 with pure Egyptian hands, as “Habu” is considered A masterpiece of art with the beauty of its contents and the distinctiveness of its colours.

The director of the temple noted that the restoration operations included removing dust, soot, and calcifications resulting from weather factors, using safe, non-harmful materials, especially for antiquities, to restore Restoration in a manner commensurate with the true origin of the temple.
