The President of Luxor University follows up on the student union elections and emphasizes integrity and transparency

Today, Tuesday, Dr. Sabreen Abdel Galil, President of Luxor University, conducted an inspection tour to follow up on the progress of the electoral process for the student union elections for the academic year 2024-2025 AD. This is in totality; Tourism, hotels, education, computers and information, accompanied by deans and deans of colleges.

During the tour, Dr. Sabreen Abdel Jalil was reassured; To ensure that the electoral process proceeds in a democratic atmosphere, in complete discipline, and without any obstacles. Emphasizing that the university stands at the same distance from all students; To conduct student elections, and establish the principles of integrity, transparency, and fair competition among all; So that students can choose who represents them in student unions with free will and complete impartiality.

The President of Luxor University stressed the importance of student union elections in enhancing the spirit of leadership and active participation among students, as they are real training for electoral life in the Egyptian state, explaining that the university is working to provide all capabilities to ensure the success of the elections at all levels.

While Dr. Sabreen Abdel Galil, President of Luxor University, chaired the regular meeting of the Council for Education and Student Affairs, in the presence of Council members, where the Council discussed the colleges’ preparations for the first semester examinations in colleges for the academic year 2024/2025, and the University President stressed during the session the necessity of completing all preparations. Examination schedules for the first semester, taking into account holidays and official holidays, and the university president recommended the necessity of providing an appropriate climate for students to perform examination work with ease.

The Council for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs at Luxor University held its regular meeting, headed by Dr. Sabreen Abdel Galil, President of the University, and in the presence of the deans of the colleges and members of the Council. The Council agreed to hold the Seventh International Conference for Fine Arts and Community Service “Art and Sustainability” at the Faculty of Fine Arts in the period from From February 25 to 27, the Council also agreed to hold the first International Arts Symposium at the College of Fine Arts from February 16 to February 27, and the Council approved the formation of the Integrated Environmental Team. For the colleges of education, medicine, science, tourism and hotels, within the activities of the colleges’ deputies to achieve the activities of environment and community activities as one team representing the university.
