The President of Egypt, Peace and Human Rights: Development in Sinai is the most powerful social justice tools

Ahmed Abrai, President of the Egypt Foundation for the Peace and Human Rights Foundation, said that on the anniversary of the liberation of Sinai, we do not only celebrate the restoration of the land, but we also celebrate the deep transformations that this dear spot from the homeland, which fought two separate battles, the first for liberation in the face of the occupation, and the second for life in the face of terrorism and marginalization. During the past ten years, it succeeded in achieving an unprecedented achievement on the land of North Sinai, where it managed to completely eliminate terrorist outposts and restore security and stability, but what doubles the value of this achievement is the rapid transition to the stage of construction and development, to start a third battle that is no less important, which is the battle of comprehensive development and ensuring the basic rights of all Sinai people. Sinai is witnessing today from the development of infrastructure, the establishment of new cities and villages, improving health and educational services, and providing job opportunities, represents a strategic step in the direction of consolidating human rights in its comprehensive sense, which includes the right to security, housing, education, health, work, and community participation. As human rights defenders, development is the most powerful tools of social justice and stability, and that enabling the Sinai citizen to participate in local decision -making, enhance the role of women and youth, and support for local civil society, is the true guarantor of the sustainability of this positive transformation.
