The President of Al-Azhar University inaugurates the second phase of scientific theses databases
Dr. Salama Dawoud, President of Al-Azhar University, inaugurated the second phase of the academic theses databases for researchers at the university in (the Sharia and Law sector) under the supervision of Dr. Mahmoud Siddiq, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Fatima Hindawi, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, and Dr. Allah Sarhan, Director of the Dissertations Database Center.
The University President reviewed the efforts of the Dissertations Database Center in including information for all master’s and doctoral dissertations, including titles, supervisory and discussion bodies, and their approval dates, praising the great effort made.
Dr. Abdullah Sarhan, Director of the Center, stated that the first phase that was opened was for the Arabic language sector, this second phase is for the Sharia and Law sector, and the third phase for the Fundamentals of Religion sector is being completed, explaining that any researcher can obtain patents. Registration from the center’s headquarters at the College of Graduate Studies related to the Arabic language, Sharia, and law sectors.
He explained that this work exempts researchers from issuing individual patents from each individual college at Al-Azhar University across the Republic, and thus saves them the hassle of traveling. Movement between governorates; The patents will be extracted from one place, which is the Center for Databases of Theses and Scientific Research.
Dr. added. Sarhan said that the center is ready from tomorrow to issue patents for all researchers in master’s and doctoral degrees in the faculties of Sharia, Law, and the corresponding divisions in the faculties of Islamic and Arab studies for boys and girls at Al-Azhar University & other colleges in the same specialty.
The opening was attended by Dr. Dhikri. Abdel Razek Khalifa, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law in Cairo and Head of the Center’s Sharia Sector, Dr. Osama Quraitem, Coordinator of the Fundamentals of Jurisprudence Department at the Center, and Dr. Ghaleb Mufleh, Coordinator of the Center’s Jurisprudence Department.
