The Parties Youth Coordination appreciates the deletion of Article 29 of the draft medical liability law

In the context of the keenness of the Youth Coordination of Parties and Politicians to bring together viewpoints on the draft law on medical liability and patient protection, and to remove the confusion that has been raised regarding it during the last period, and its endeavor to produce a draft law that achieves a balance between protecting the rights of both the patient and the service provider, it held During the last period, I held some meetings and meetings with the various parties concerned with this law, and I listened to the different points of view on the draft law from the Medical Syndicate, and I heard the philosophy and objectives of the project from Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health. The Youth Coordination of Parties and Politicians explained that, in light of this, it had drafted a memorandum that included the demands and proposals of the Medical Syndicate and presented it to the House of Representatives and it was studied, including deleting the provisional detention article. For doctors in the draft medical liability law, and Counselor Muhammad Abdel-Aleem Kafafi, legal advisor to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Chancellor Dr. Hanafi Jabali, announced during the meeting of the Health Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives today, Tuesday, to discuss the draft law, that they had received comments and demands from the Doctors Syndicate from more than An entity, led by the Coordination of Youth of Parties and Politicians, confirmed that more than 95% of the demands of the Doctors Syndicate were met, as the committee meeting sent reassuring messages to the health team about the draft law, and clarified many of the points that caused confusion during the last period.

The Coordination of Youth Parties and Politicians appreciated the announcement by the Health Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives of agreeing to delete Article 29 from the draft law regarding the permissibility of pretrial detention of a medical service provider for crimes committed by him during the provision of medical service or because of it, in light of the fact that this article is subject to objection from a number of Professional unions, especially the Doctors Syndicate, and this came within the framework of the recent meeting between Counselor Dr. Hanafi Jabali, Speaker of the House of Representatives, and Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health.
