The Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade in Beheira launched intensive ration campaigns in markets, gas stations and stores, in order to confront the sale of subsidized goods of unknown origin and expired.
The campaigns, supervised by Mohamed Ragab Hadiya, Director of the Beheira Supply Directorate, resulted in the arrest of a gas station owner for disposing of 20,000 liters of diesel, in order to achieve illegal gains. Legal measures were taken against the violators.
For her part, Dr. Jacqueline Azer, Governor of Beheira, confirmed the intensification of monitoring and supply campaigns and continuous field follow-up on unlicensed bakeries, markets, stores and factories, to control the markets and ensure the quality of goods and their suitability for human consumption.
