The National Elections Authority pays great attention to consolidating the culture of political participation among young people
The National Elections Authority organized, on Tuesday evening, April 8, 2025, an educational symposium at the authority’s headquarters in Cairo, in light of the activation of the cooperation protocol concluded with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, which aims to spread awareness and enhance the culture of political participation among citizens, especially the youth category, through various electoral benefits. Judge Hazem Badawi, head of the commission, who is based on the provisions of the constitution and the law, in the field of political education and electoral awareness, is the role that the authority is keen to perform through various channels to ensure its mission reaches the largest possible number of citizens of all ages and cultures. & Nbsp; & nbsp;

& nbsp; The symposium also witnessed the presence of the commissioner Ahmed Amin, Director of Electoral Affairs Secretariat at the League of Arab States.
& nbsp; A presentation on the National Elections Authority and during the symposium, Judge Ahmed Bandari made a comprehensive presentation dealing with the establishment of the National Elections Authority, and the nature and mechanisms of its work in managing and organizing elections and referendums, whether inside or outside the Arab Republic of Egypt, while reviewing the most important constitutional benefits that the authority has organized since its foundation.
& nbsp; The Director of the Executive Agency of the National Elections Authority explained that during the last period, the commission carried out many awareness activities aimed at consolidating the culture of political participation.
& nbsp; Judge Shadi Riad, Deputy Director of the Executive Agency of the National Elections Authority, also conducted an interactive simulation with the participation of one of the attendees, with the aim of simplifying electoral concepts, introducing the participants to the role of the commission in various benefits, methods of inquiring about the electoral committees and ways to communicate with the authority."Color:#2980b9;"> & nbsp; An open dialogue and direct interaction with the participants & nbsp; ” It was emphasized, during the debate, that the poll is a right and a national duty, and is one of the main pillars of the democratic process, which contributes to the stability of the state and the organization of the work of its powers and national institutions.
