The Mufti of the Republic receives an Indonesian delegation to discuss enhancing cooperation in the field of fatwa training
Dr. Nazir Ayyad, Mufti of the Republic, Head of the General Secretariat of Fatwa Houses and Bodies in the World, received a high-level Indonesian delegation from the Peace in the Two Worlds Foundation in Indonesia, headed by Minister Dr. Shafreddin Kambu, President of the Peace in the Worlds Foundation and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Association of Islamic Institutes. This is to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the Egyptian Fatwa House and the institution, especially in the field of fatwa training.

His Eminence the Mufti also spoke about the General Secretariat of Fatwa Houses and Bodies in the World, whose membership includes 111 institutions from various countries of the world, and seeks to enhance international fatwa cooperation and organize fatwa work in line with contemporary challenges.
His Eminence explained that the General Secretariat plays a prominent role in unifying fatwa efforts and confronting common issues, and also provides specialized training programs and workshops aimed at raising the efficiency of muftis and qualifying them to face intellectual and religious challenges.
He indicated that the Egyptian Fatwa House is fully prepared to cooperate with the Peace in the Two Worlds Foundation to provide support in the field of training and qualifying muftis, whether through direct or distance training, and organizing professional training courses that include skills Fatwa and the making of the mufti.
For his part, Minister Dr. Shafr Al-Din Campo expressed his happiness at this meeting, stressing the status of the Egyptian Fatwa House in Indonesia and among Indonesian students studying at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif. And religious institutes in Indonesia, which are considered a global fatwa reference that follows the moderate approach of Al-Azhar.
