At the beginning of the meeting, His Eminence the Mufti welcomed the ambassador and his accompanying delegation, and stressed the depth of relations between Egypt and the Sultanate of Brunei, noting that Dar The Egyptian Fatwa, which derives its approach from Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, always seeks to cooperate and exchange experiences with Islamic institutions around the world.
During the meeting, His Eminence the Mufti spoke about the training department at Dar Al-Ifta, which provides various training programs aimed at training… Muftis and qualifying them with fatwa skills and confronting extremist thought and atheism. He added that these programs may extend to three years in cooperation with specialists in various fields to meet the needs of the trainees.
His Eminence the Mufti also affirmed the readiness of the Egyptian Fatwa House and the General Secretariat of Fatwa Houses and Bodies in the world, to provide scientific, legal and training support to students and imams.
