The Ministry of Labor begins tests for young people applying for jobs in Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Labor announced today, Tuesday, the start of tests for young people who submitted their papers for 21 jobs in the fields of " “Marketing, sales, and chefs,” to work in a Saudi institution, with 7 jobs for each of these three fields, with salaries of up to 8 thousand riyals each month.

The Ministry stated: These tests, which take place at the old “Ministry” headquarters in Nasr City, are witnessed by a delegation from the Saudi company headed by Mr. Ashraf Osama, President and CEO of the Chef Channel, and Walaa Halawa, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.

General Directorate of Employment at the Ministry said that these new opportunities come within the framework of implementing the directives of the Minister of Labor, Muhammad Gibran, to provide opportunities for young people to work abroad, in cooperation with labor representation offices abroad, and explained that these new opportunities were provided in coordination with The Labor Representation Office in Riyadh, headed by Muhammad Alyan..

 

She added that organizing practical tests for applicants, in coordination with external companies, aims to ascertain the workers’ skills before they travel, and the extent of their awareness of their rights and duties. With the aim of achieving stability and sustainability for the worker, and providing a skilled and trained worker for the benefit of the employer.

She indicated that the wages in these new jobs range from 3000 to 8,000 riyals per month, and its advantages include: annual employment contracts, a round-trip airline ticket after the first year in case of renewal, and adequate housing.
