The Ministry of Interior continues to hold meetings with school and university students to raise awareness of the dangers of narcotic substances
The General Administration of Narcotics Control in the Sector of Combating Drugs, Unlicensed Weapons and Ammunition, in coordination with the relevant authorities, continued to hold meetings with school students in the “preparatory – secondary” stages. As well as university students in various governorates of the Republic, to introduce them to the dangers of using narcotic substances, especially new ones, their negative effects and danger to their age group, and ways to prevent them.
Several videos were also shown. A recording of the efforts of the General Administration for Narcotics Control in controlling many cases, which demonstrates the extent of the security services’ ability to confront attempts to promote narcotic drugs.
This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Interior’s keenness to communicate And community participation aimed at raising awareness of the dangers of drugs. This initiative received praise and approval from the organizers and participants of that event, and a continuation of the efforts of the Ministry’s agencies to raise awareness of the dangers of narcotic substances, due to their extreme danger and negative effects that cast their shadows on society.
