The Minister of Labor, Mohamed Gibran, discussed, today, Monday, in his office in the New Administrative Capital, with Engineer Hassan Al-Khatib, the Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, a group of joint files, including work to increase domestic and foreign investment.

The two sides discussed the possibility of exempting companies from the percentage to be collected for the Ministry of Labor’s Training and Qualification Finance Fund, in the event that there is a vocational training center accredited by the Ministry of Labor in those establishments, as well as studying the reduction of that percentage, provided that it begins. Collecting it – after agreeing on its value – at the beginning of next year “2025”, and exempting all establishments from any previous dues to the “Fund”. Until the date of starting to implement the collection of the new percentage, with granting those establishments against which lawsuits were filed regarding late dues to the Fund, which indicates reconciliation in those cases.
The two sides affirmed the leadership’s keenness. The policy aims to provide all types of support and support to encourage investment, and provide a decent work environment in which skilled and trained workers are available.
