The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities makes an inspection tour inside the pyramids area

 

Eager, today,  Sherif Fathi, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, on an inspection tour of the Giza Pyramids area, during which he was accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Ismail Khaled, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, and Mr. Ashraf Mohi, Director General of Giza Antiquities.

During the tour, Mr. Sherif Fathi inspected and followed up. The executive position and the latest work developments in the project to develop services in the Giza Pyramids area.

He also inspected the itinerary of tourists and visitors visiting the region and what is being implemented in light of the project to develop the services provided to them in it, which contributes to improving the tourist experience there and making it more attractive.

He also inspected the entry gates located on the Cairo-Fayoum Road, which have been completed to be developed to be the main gates to enter the region when the development project opens soon, in addition to learning about the entry path from these gates.

The Minister was also keen To inspect the paths being prepared for camels and cavalry to walk while tourists ride and tour them.

This tour came after the participation of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities this morning with the Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, in launching the National Program for the Care and Protection of Horses, Camels and Pets. In archaeological areas, in cooperation between the Ministries of Tourism, Antiquities, Agriculture and Land Reclamation.
