Sherif Fathi, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, made a quick visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries in the field of tourism, in response to the invitation of Mrs. Fatima bint Jaafar Al -Serafi, Minister of Tourism in the Kingdom of Bahrain, during which he met a bilateral meeting with the minister, during which ways and mechanisms for promoting tourist destinations in the two countries were discussed by preparing and marketing for joint integrative tourism programs between them It contributes to raising the rates of tourism exchange in order to attract more tourist movement coming to them, especially from the distant markets. The meeting also witnessed the discussion of the proposal to organize joint professional tourism meetings and workshops between the Egyptian tourism companies and their Bahraini counterpart, to enhance the ways of joint cooperation in many tourism products, especially the tourism of the tourism of the wedding, meetings, meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions MICE. Which links the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt, pointing to the endeavors of the two countries to enhance more joint bilateral cooperation in several fields, including the field of tourism.

& nbsp; In various fields, especially at the tourist level, referring to the role of official visits in the expansion of partnerships, and the development of paths of cooperation and coordination and pushing them towards more comprehensive horizons, in order to achieve the aspirations of both sides. & Nbsp; At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to form an executive team from the two ministries to start actual work faster to implement joint cooperation frameworks between the two countries that were discussed during this meeting and until the agreements are officially signed. And economic, scientific and technological, to discuss the common vision to advance mutual tourism investments and achieve sustainable development, exchange experiences and knowledge and invest large events in Egypt and Bahrain to promote the two countries and attract more tourism movement for them. A tour of the Minister was also organized, during which he visited the archaeological castle of Bahrain, which is considered one of the most important archaeological sites in the Arabian Gulf, in addition to visiting the Castle Museum, which displays about 500 artifacts from the most important holdings discovered in the castle, which reviews the historical eras that passed on this site. The castle and its registered location on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and its residential, public, commercial and military buildings have been discovered over the past fifty years, which highlight the importance of the site over the centuries. For his part, the Minister expressed his admiration for the artifacts and buildings he witnessed on the site of the castle and its museum to narrate part of the history of Bahrain.
